February 8, 1967SERVICES SATURDAY FOR CLYDE GILLOGLY
James Clyde Gillogly of Patterson, a life-long resident of Madison county, died Wednesday, Feb. 1, at Memorial hospital in Winterset. He was 89 years of age.
Mr. Gillogly was born in this county Spril 20, 1877, a son of James A. and Sarah Jane Bell Gillogly. His active life was spent in farming and construction work. He was a member of the Patterson Methodist Church.
He was married to Zelphia Carter on Jan. 1, 1902. Her death occurred in 1921.
He is survived by a brother, Willis A. Gillogly of Balboa, Panama Canal Zone; and two sisters, Mrs. Floss Herren of Macksburg and Gertrude W. Gillogly of Patterson. A brother and sister preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Saturday from the Patterson Methodist church, conducted by the Rev. James A. Louk. Burial was made in Mt. Pelier cemetery at Patterson.
