Gertrude Gillogly, Winterset

Graveside services for Gertrude Gillogly, 94, Winterset, who died Sept. 30 at the Bethesda Care Center where she resided, were held on Monday, Oct. 3, at the Mt. Pelier Cemetery at Patterson with the Rev. Zona Lautt officiating.

Born in Madison County on Jan. 23, 1894, she was the daughter of James and Sarah Bell Gillogly. She was a retired school teacher and homemaker and a lifetime resident of Madison County.

She was a member of the Patterson United Methodist Church and the Women's Circle.

Survivors include nieces, Daisy Dell King of Lorimor and Mary Jo Jones of Inverness, Fla.; and nephew, Bob Herren of Macksburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
