Services for Harold E. White, 81, Winterset, who died December 21, 1989, at the Winterset Care Center North where he resided, were held on Tues., Dec. 26, at the Steen Funeral Home in Greenfield with the Rev. J. Larry Vallery of Greenfield United Methodisst Church officiating. Burial will be at the Greenfield Cemetery.
Born March 12, 1908, he was the son of Ernest and Christena Johnson White in Cass County, Iowa. He lived in Adair County as a small boy and farmed along with doing carpentry work most of his life in Adair County. He was a veteran of World War II and served overseas in the Army
He is survived by his brother, Howard White and wife Wilma of Greenfield; two half sisters-in-law, Mildred and Ruth Hettinger of Des Moines.
