HULDA WHITE Of Winterset, Iowa

Mrs. Hulda M. White of Winterset was found dead at her home here Saturday. Date of her death was
placed at Dec. 8, 1969.

Mrs. White was 84 years of age at her death. She was a life-long resident of Madison county, born here Oct. 16, 1885, a daughter of William and Wilhelmina Ball Bernau.

She was married Aug. 18, 1909, at Adel, to Allen E. White. His death occurred in 1959.

She was a member of the Sts. Paul Lutheran church in Winterset, and was active in the Sixty Plus club here.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Fred Smith of Carlisle; a son, Emmett A. White of Des Moines; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and six step great grandchildren.

She also leaves a brother August Bernau of Whitmore; and a sister, Mrs. Martha Clayton of Dallas Center.

Funeral services were held Monday from the Clark-Wilson Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. Edward R. Zaiser. Burial was made in the Winterseet Cemetery.
