Funeral services were held today for Lovisa B. Gentry of Kirkwood, Mo., a former Winterset resident. Mrs. Gentry, 91, died Dec. 19 at Cedar Croft Nursing Home in Kirkwood, Mo.
Born Nov. 21, 1980 in Rooks County, Kansas, she was the daughter of Elisha and Tabitha Reigle Eggleston. On April 23, 1914 she married Mac Gentry in Winterset. Most of her life was spent in Winterset and she worked for many years at Grace's Cafe.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a brother, five sisters and a daughter, Phyllis Gentry.
Survivors include a son, Bill Gentry of Fremont, Neb.; two daughters, Bernadine Wilson of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Irma Lee Brannum of Kirkwood, Mo.; eight grandsons and seven great-grandchildren.
Services were conducted at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset with Rev. David Livingston officiating. Burial was at Winterset Cemetery.
