Page 1, Column 1Death came quite suddenly to Mrs. Adda Blimka on Friday, June 5th. She had not been very well of late, but was not considered serious. She was taken much worse early Friday morning and was removed to the hospital. A specialist was called from Des Moines, but nothing could be done to save her life, death coming about six o'clock Friday evening.
She was born in Penn township in 1861. After receiving her education she taught school until her marriage to J. F. Blimka in 1879. To them were born one son and a daughter, W. H. Blimka of Lewiston, Idaho and Mrs. Eva Loomis of Lisbon, N. D.
Besides these, she leaves her aged mother, Mrs. S. E. Bellows, for whom she has so tenderly cared; one brother, Don C. Bellows of Mason City, and one sister, Mrs. Olive Sprinkle of this city. For many years, her life has been spent in caring for the sick.
Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon at the Methodist church, conducted by her pastor, Rev. D. J. Shenton.
