Dorothy Garrison, Winterset

Dorothy Mae Garrison, 65, died of multiple organ system failure Nov. 18, 2001, at Winterset Care Center North.

Graveside services were held at 10:30 a.m. today (Wednesday, Nov. 21) at Penn Center Cemetery, Penn Township, Madison County with the Rev. Bob Epperson officiating.

Dorothy Garrison was born Nov. 2, 1936 to John (Jack) and Edna Bessie (Sirdoreus) Garrison of Eunice, Mo. She had spent most of her life in Winterset. The Bible was Dorothy's constant companion.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

She is survived by two brothers, Paul Garrison (wife Shirley) of Brighton, Colo., and Charles Garrison (wife Phyllis) of Winterset; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Winterset Care Center North Activity Fund or Middle River Hospice.

Funeral arrangements were handled by Collins Oak Park Chapel in Winterset.
