Services for Alma "Robin" White, 98 mother of movie actress Patricia Barry, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Weerts/Hill & Fredericks Funeral Home, Davenport. Burial will be noon Friday in Winterset, Iowa.
Visitation is 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
Memorials may be made to the Dr. Paul A. White and Ama Robbins Whites Scholarship Memorial Fund, Simpson College, Indianola, Iowa.
Mrs. White, who resided at 2023 Carey Ave., Davenport, died Monday at her home.
Alma Robbins married prominent Davenport physician Paul White. He died in 1955.
The couple moved to the Quad-Cities in 1921 and were prominent in the community. Dr. White founded the Central Clinic of White, Senty and Garside, Davenport.
Mrs. White was an avid gardener and an entertaining speaker for civic organizations.
In June 1981, she addressed the alumni of Simpson College, where she was considered the oldest living graduate. "She laid them in the aisle," said daughter Priscilla.
She had been active with the Tri-Deltas, Questors, Chapter FJ of PEO and the Scott County Medical Auxiliary, and was former president of the Davenport Women's Club.
She had done quilts to raise money for the Junior Board of the Tri-City Symphony.
Survivors include daughters, Patricia Barry, Brentwood, Calif., and Priscilla Dunn, Encino, Calif.; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandson.

Alma Robbins White, 96, a native of Madison County, died at Davenport on Monday, Jan. 23, 1984.
Graveside services at Winerset Cemetery are scheduled for 12:00 noon, Friday, January 27.
