MRS. HARRY NALEAN DIED HERE MONDAY

Resident of Madison County Last 15 Years Was 77 Years Old

Mrs. Harry Nalean, a resident of Madison county the last 15 years, died Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Madge Nalean, north of Winterset. She was 77 years of age. She had suffered a fall three weeks ago, from which she never fully recovered.

Mrs. Nalean was a native of Sweden, where she was born Nov. 28, 1870. She came to the United States when she was 16 years of age, and had lived in many parts of the nation before coming to Madison county 15 years ago.

She was married Jan. 2, 1907, to Harry Nalean, who survives her. She also leaves two daughters, Mrs. Madge Nalean of Winterset and Mrs. Vera Larick of Neosho, Mo.; two grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a brother, S. Ecklund of Chicago.

Funeral services will be held this Friday at 2 p.m. from the Ramsey-Richards funeral home, in charge of the Rev. W. P. Gordon, pastor of the Winterset United Presbyterian church. Burial will be made in Resthaven cemetery at Des Moines.
