DEATH OF A. B. JOHNSON

Ohio Township Farmer Died at Home in Truro Wednesday

Albert B. Johnson well known resident of Truro, died at his home Wednesday morning, October 20th at 8:30 o'clock. He was 84 years of age, and had been in failing health the past two years.

The Rev. O. V. Rector will conduct his funeral services at the Christian church in Truro, Saturday afternoon, at two o'clock, and burial is to be in the Young cemetery.

Mr. Johnson was born October 5, 1853, in Lee county, Iowa, a son of William G. and Sarah J. Johnson. He attended the district schools of Farmington, and later studied at the State Normal school at Kirksville, Missouri. In 1876 he located in Ohio township, operating for a number of years a large farm a mile east of town. During recent years, he has lived in Truro and has spent the past few winters in Excelsior Springs, Missouri because of his health. He is survived by his wife.
