MARY JICKLING DIED ON MONDAY

Had Been Patient for Two Years in Nursing Home

Mrs. Mary Jickling, a life-long resident of Madison county, died Monday, May 29, at a nursing home in West Des Moines, where she had been a patient for the last two years. She was 78 years of age.

Mrs. Jickling was the former Mary Helen Weeks, daughter of James and Mary A. Weeks. She was born in Madison county Nov. 24, 1871. She was married to George B. Jickling on Feb. 15, 1893. They were the parents of a son, Glenn D. Jickling of Winterset, and a daughter, Mrs. Dorris Smith of Lorimor. Her husband died in 1931.

In addition to the two children, she leaves two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. Zoa Rippey of Des Moines, Mrs. Vickie Wimmer of Bozeman, Mont., and Mrs. Ollie Bolton of Ainsworth, Nebraska.

Funeral services were held this Wednesday from the Anderson home for funerals, in charge of the Rev. I. E. Linkletter, pastor of the Winterset Church of Christ. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
