Ruth E. Frey, Merriam, Kansas

Graveside services for Ruth E. Frey, 90, a former Madison County resident, who died Thursday, Sept. 8, at a Merriam, Kan. nursing home, were held Monday, Sept. 12 at Masonic Cemetery in Des Moines.

Mrs. Frey was born in Peru and had lived in Des Moines before moving to the Kansas City area in March. She was a graduate of Des Moines University, taught in Madison County schools and later in the Des Moines schools.

She was a member of the Grace Methodist Church in Des Moines.

Survivors include a son, James Warren Frey, Overland Park, Kan.; a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Fenimore, Winterset; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
