Funeral services for George Whitworth, 60, were held in Spencer Tues., May 14. He died May 11, 1991.
A former Macksburg resident, he was born May 27, 1930 and was a 1947 graduate of Macksburg Consolidated High School. He married Shirley Speed of Orient May 25, 1952 and was an educator in the Spencer school system.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Among his survivors are his wife, his mother, Luella Whitworth of Winterset; a brother, Alan of Cedar Rapids; and a nephew.
