Former Resident Dies in Maryland

William Frederickson, formerly a well-known Madison county resident, died suddenly Sunday, Dec. 17, at the home of his son, Roderick Frederickson, in Woodbine, Md. He was 83 years of age.

Mr. Frederickson was born near Peru, a son of Fritz and Wipke Huss Frederickson. He lived in Webster township from 1913 until eight years ago.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Maude Frederickson; the son, Roderick Frederickson; a sister, Mrs. Ella Harrell of Winterset; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Dec. 19 from the Waltz Funeral home in Woodbine with the Rev. Donald Smith of Mt. Olive United Methodist church officiating. On Dec. 20 services were held from the Collins Funeral home in Winterset, in charge of the Rev. Newton Coughenour, pastor of the First United Methodist church of Winterset. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
