Former Local Resident Dies

Mrs. Maude E. Frederickson, a resident of Webster Township in Madison County most of her life, died Thursday, June 14 at her home in Woodbine, Maryland where she had lived the past eight years. She was 84 years of age.

Mrs. Frederickson was a native of Faulk County, South Dakota where she was born February 5, 1889, a daughter of William and Eliza Nelson. She was married in Madison County on December 10, 1910 to William Frederickson. Most of their married life was spent in Webster Township until eight years ago when they moved to Maryland to be near their son, Roderic Frederickson. William Frederickson died in December 1972.

Surviving are the son, Roderic Frederickson of Woodbine, Maryland; five grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Jesse Ham of Winterset; and a brother, Bert Nelson of Peru.

Funeral services were held this Monday from the Collins Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. Newton Coughenour pastor of the First United Methodist Church here. Burial was made in the Winterset Cemetery.
