FORMER RESIDENT DIES IN MINNESOTA

Mrs. Minnie Foster, a native of Madison county, died Friday, April 22, at Mankato, Minn. She had been a resident of Minnesota since 1914.

Mrs. Foster was a daughter of George and Orlena Shoemaker. She was born here Aug. 27, 1889, and was 76 years of age at her death.

As a young woman she taught school in Madison county. She was married here in 1912 to Harvey Foster. His death occurred in 1926.

She leaves eight children; two sisters, Ruth and Jane Shoemaker of Winterset; and two brothers, Carl Shoemaker of Winterset and Ralph Shoemaker of Earlham.

The brothers and sisters, together with Mrs. Gertrude Shoemaker of Winterset, attended the funeral services in Minnesota Monday.
