BURIAL AT PERU FOR BURL FOSTER

W. Burl Foster, formerly of Peru, died at a Des Moines hospital Sunday, March 4. He was 61 years of age.

Mr. Foster was born at Peru and spent his early life there, but for the last 38 years had lived in Des Moines, where he had been employed as a supervisor for the Rock Island railroad.

He was a member of the Masonic lodge and Za-Ga-Zig Shrine. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Hattie Foster of Des Moines; two sons, William Foster of Des Moines and Dean Foster of Los Angeles; two daughters, Mrs. Pauline Peters of Cosmos, Minn., and Martha Foster of Des Moines,; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Naomi Parrott of Lorimor and Mrs. Jane Haskell of Des Moines; and a brother, Earl Foster of West Covina, Calif.

Funeral services will be held Friday from Hamilton's Funeral home in Des Moines with burial in the Peru cemetery.
