Funeral services for Blaine Wesley Foster, 46, were held at Norwalk United Methodist Church Monday with the Rev. Dwayne Madsen officiating. Mr. Foster died of a liver ailment on August 7, 1993 at the V.A. Medical Center in Des Moines. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.

He was born November 13, 1946, to John and Twyla (Blain) Foster in Ogden, Utah. He married Cathy Sirdoreus Armstrong, November 24, 1982 in Norwalk. He was the manager of Town Talkies Video Store and was a member of the American Legion in Indianola. He was a Vietnam Navy veteran.

He was preceded in death by a sister.

Surviving relatives include his grandmother, Pearl Blain of Ogden, Utah, his parents, also of Ogden; his wife Cathy of Norwalk; two step sons, Jonathan Armstrong of Ft. Hood, Texas and Bradley Armstrong of Norwalk; two brothers, Ronald Foster of Phoenix, Ariz. and Larry Foster of Las Vegas, Nev.; and three step grandchildren, Pamela, Jermey and Kimberly Armstrong.
