1963JOHN FOSHER, 87, DIED THURSDAY
Life-Time Resident of This County Died in Des Moines
John Fosher, a life-time resident of Madison county, died last Thursday, May 9, at the home of his niece, Mrs. Doris Masters of Des Moines. He was 87 years of age.
Mr. Fosher was a son of Samuel and Jennie Hills Fosher. He was born in this county May 9, 1876, and spent his life here.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ethel Fosher of Winterset; a son, Albert Fosher of Winterset; a granddaughter, Mrs. Alberta Little of Winterset; two great grandchildren; and a brother, Hubert Fosher of Winterset.
Funeral services were held Monday from the Collins Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Robert A. Owens, pastor of the First Christian church of Winterset. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
