Harold F. Florer, 82, of Winterset, died of cancer Oct. 19, 1997 at the Winterset Care Center North. Funeral services are today, Oct. 22, at 3 p.m. at McLaren's Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Resthaven Cemetery in West Des Moines.
He was born in Commerce and spent all of his adult life in Madison County as a farmer.
Surviving relatives include two brothers, Harvey Florer of Cumming, John Florer of Sun City, Ariz.; and 31 nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to the Middle River Hospice.
