BLANCHE FITZPATRICK DIED HERE WEDNESDAY

Resident of Wichita, Kansas Had Lived Here Last Five Months.

Mrs. Blanche E. Fitzpatrick of Wichita, Kan., who had been living here at the Ernest Tompkins home the last five months, died last Wednesday, Jan. 9, at Memorial hospital in Winterset. She was 82 years of age.

Mrs. Fitzpatrick was a native of Red Oak, where she was born June 24, 1880, a daughter of Charles and Harriett Kenney Chickering. She was married at Denmark, Iowa on Aug. 30, 1900, to Jeremiah Fitzpatrick. He preceded her in death.

She was a member of College Hill Methodist church at Wichita. She was affiliated with the Order of Eastern Star at Ft. Madison, and was past Noble Grand of the Rebekah lodge at Burlington.

Nearest surviving relative is a daughter, Mrs. Harriett Hammer, of Wichita. She also leaves four grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday from the First Methodist church of Winterset, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. John C. Porath. Burial was made in Oakland cemetery at Ft. Madison.
