Lula Wilkinson, 81, a native of Lenox, Iowa, died Monday, January 16, 1978, at her home in Winterset. She was born December 23, 1896, the daughter of Elisha M. and Fanny E. Forbes Patton. She lived in Madison County for about 35 years.
Mrs. Wilkinson was married to James T. Wilkinson on November 24, 1917, in Omaha, Neb. He survives his wife. She was a housewife, affiliated with the Methodist Church, the Clearfield, Iowa congregation.
Other survivors include a daughter, Lucille M. Baker of Winterset, nine grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Four sisters survive. They are Ruth Wilkinson of Mason City, Iowa; Hazel Kimzey of Arizona, Mabel Mills of Calif. and Zoe Woodcock of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, a brother and two sisters.
Disposition was made by cremation.
