Elmer James Faux, Pleasant Hill

Funeral services for Elmer James Faux, 93, Pleasant Hill, who died July 23, at Park Ridge Manor where he resided the past year were held Wednesday afternoon, July 26, at Collins Funeral Home.

Burial was at the McGinnis Cemetery near Patterson.

Mr. Faux was born in Winterset, grew up near Patterson and attended school there. He farmed Pocahontas and Guthrie counties before retiring to Patterson in 1968.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel. Survivors are a son, Edwin of Des Moines and daughters, Elsie Philp of Ware, Florence MacVey of Rolfe and Doris Kingery of Des Moines; 19 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
