1961DAVID FAUX OF PATTERSON DIES
Life-Time Resident of That Community Was 48 Years of Age
David J. Faux, a well-known resident of the Patterson community, died Christmas day, Dec. 25, at a Des Moines hospital. His death followed a brief illness. He was 48 years of age.
Mr. Faux was born at Patterson on July 5, 1913, a son of Thomas J. and Fannie Bishop Faux. His entire life was spent in Madison county, where he engaged in farming. He was a member of the Methodist church.
He was married July 28, 1934 to Olive Smith, who survives him. He also leaves a daughter, Mrs. Wanda Warnock of Adak Island, Alaska; a son, Lester F. Faux of Patterson; five grandchildren; five brothers, Elmer Faux of Casey, Arthur Faux of Des Moines, Byron Faux of St. Charles, Elton Faux of Patterson and Aaron.
