EARLHAM MAN KILLED IN CRASH

Darrell W. Faux Fatally Injured Near West Des Moines

Darrell Wayne Faux of near Earlham was killed last Friday August 20, when the car he was driving left the highway and plunged into a field near West Des Moines. He was returning home from Des Moines, where he was employed, when the accident occurred.

Mr. Faux was 31 years of age at his death. He was a native of the Peru community, where he was born Dec. 6, 1933, a son of Byron and Helen Cooper Faux.

He was married July 26, 1953 at St. Charles, to Beverly Cave. They were parents of four children.

He was a member of the Friends church at Earlham.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Ronald Wayne and Randy Lee; two daughters, Debra Jean and Rose Mary; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Byron Faux of St. Charles; five brothers, Russell Faux of Booneville, Byron Faux, Jr., of Iowa Park, Tex., Wallace D. Faux of Oakland, California, Alvin R. Faux of Fontanelle, and Donald D. Faux of Patterson; and two sisters, Mrs. Harry Benge of Patterson and Mrs. Carl Benedict of Juda,Wisc.

Funeral services were hald Monday from the First Methodist church in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. Ernest Baiotto, pastor of the Friends church near Earlham. Burial was made in the McGinnis cemetery near Patterson.
