Byron Faux Jr., 68 of Iowa Park, Texas, died Oct. 26, 1998 in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, Oct. 28 at Highland Cemetery Pavilion with the Rev. Steve Beckwith officiating.
Byron Faux was born Feb. 24, 1930 in Barney, Iowa. He married Zelma Bonds in Walters, Okla. Byron was a master sergeant in the Air Force, serving in Vietnam from 1966 to 1967. He served 21 years as a supply sergeant for the Air Force, retiring in 1972. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife; one son, Mickey Patterson Sr. of Granbury, Texas; one daughter, Keitha Faux of Iowa Park; two sisters, Fannie Palmer and Rose Benedict, both of Iowa; four brothers, Wallace of California and Gene, Alvin and Donald all of Iowa; and two grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Dutton Funeral Home.
