1980Beverly Faux Rites Wednesday
Beverly Jean Faux of Earlham died Sunday January 20, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines at the age of 45. Mrs. Faux had been a resident of Earlham for 22 years.
Born on June 24, 1934 in Stuart, she was the daughter of Clyde Adison and Helen Faye Bassett Cave. She was united in marriage to Darrell Wayne Faux on July 26, 1953 in St. Charles. Her husband preceded her in death on August 23, 1965.
Mrs. Faux was a clerk for Standard Oil Credit Card Co. in Des Moines.
Surviving are two sons, Ronald W. Faux and Randy Lee Faux, both of Earlham; two daughters, Debbie Jean Faux of Creston and Rosemary Faux of Omaha, Neb.; her father; and two sisters, Bernice McLaughlin of Guthrie Center and Wilma Fagen of Adair. She was also preceded in death by her mother and a brother.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 23, at Collins Funeral Home. Burial was at McGinnis Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth Santee of Lineville officiating.

Beverly Jean Cave Faux was born June 24, 1934 at Stuart, Iowa to Clyde and Helen Bassett Cave. She received her education at Stuart, Iowa where she was graduated from the local high school.
July 26, 1953 she was united in marriage to Darrell Wayne Faux at St. Charles, Iowa. They established their home near Winterset, Iowa, but later moved to Earlham where she lived for twenty two years. To this union were born four children, Ronald and Randy both of Earlham, Debbie of Creston and Rosemary of Omaha, Nebraska. At the time of her death she was employed by Standard Oil Credit Card Co. in Des Moines. Beverly departed this life January 20, 1980 at Mercy Hospital, Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her mother and her husband Darrell who died August 23, 1965.
Beverly is survived by her four children, Ronald, Randy, Debbie and Rosemary, her father Clyde Cave of Stuart and two sisters, Bernice McLaughlin of Guthrie Center, Iowa and Wilma Fagan of Adair, Iowa.
Memorial services were held January 23, 1980, at 10:00 a.m. at Collins Funeral Home in Winterset, Iowa. Interment at McGinnis Cemetery near Patterson, Iowa. Rev. Kenneth L. Santee of Lynnville, Iowa was the officiating minister. Lunch was served at the Bear Creek Friends Church, northwest of Earlham.
