Ella Evone Faust, daughter of Charles Wesley and Margaret Isabelle Faust, was born September 16, 1896 and died April 27, 1977 at the Good Samartian Home in Indianola. She was 80 years and 9 months.
She spent her childhood with the family on a farm in Warren County. After the death of her father, she and her mother moved to St. Charles. She was graduated from the St. Charles High School. She chose teaching school as her life work and spent 40 years teaching in Warren and Madison County schools.
The remainder of her life was spent in her home in St. Charles until January 1977 when she broke her hip.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church at St. Charles for more than fifty years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and four brothers.
She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Chloe Romback of Indianola, six nieces and six nephews.
Services were held April 30 at the St. Charles United Methodist Church, with burial in the St. Charles Cemetery.
