Graveside services for Johnnie Wilson, 95, were held July 31 at Dexter Cemetery with the Rev. Shirley Lockard officiating. He died July 28, 1993, at Winterset Care Center South.
Mr. Wilson was born January 19, 1898 near Adel to John and Ella (Harvey)Wilson. He married Mary Ann Williams on September 6, 1920 near Earlham. He farmed all of his life in Adair and Dallas Counties and retired to Dexter for ten years before moving to the care center where he resided for nine years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, one daughter, and two brothers.
He is survived by one son, Floyd Wilson of Guthrie Center; three daughters, Marjorie Faith of Woodburn, Maxine Casner of Pickford, Mich., and Lois Reedy of Orient; 18 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
