Zelma Ruth Eivins, Macksburg

Services for Zelma Ruth Eivins, 82, Macksburg, who died Jan. 9 at the Madison County Memorial Hospital, were held at the United Methodist Church at Macksburg on Tuesday, Jan. 12, with the Rev. Charlie Morrow and John Safford officiating. Burial was at the Moon Cemetery.

Born in Madison County on Nov. 12, 1904, she was the daughter of James and Mabel Justice Steele. She was married to Orlie C. Eivins on Feb. 21, 1926 in her parents home in Madison County.

A lifetime resident, Mrs. Eivins was a homemaker and a member of Fellowship Church.

Survivors include sons, Edwin T. Eivins of Knoxville, and Darrell D. Eivins of Lorimor; sister, Edna (Mrs. C. F.) Schutz and Alice Schutz both of Macksburg; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
