April 12, 1984John Henry Evers was born in Chicago, Illinois August 5, 1907 and passed away April 3, 1984 at Veterans Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa following a long illness.
He is survived by two daughters, Marcella Vanande of Earlham and Barbara Marnarch of Otho, Iowa; three sisters, Myrtle Miller, Pauline Taylor and Eleanor Greschke, all of Chicago, also five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
His wife Marian Evers, preceded him in death in 1947.
Services were held Saturday, April 7, 1984 at McKee Funeral Home, Earlham with the Reverend Eldon Cole officiating. Pallbearers were Randy Faux, Joseph College, Cloyd Morey, Scott Day Jr., Donald Algreen and Dan Douglas.
Interment was at the Earlham Cemetery, Earlham, Iowa.
