December 1960VAN METER RITES FOR VIVIAN EVANS
Funeral services for Miss Vivian Evans, well known Van Meter and Jefferson township resident, will be Thursday, December 22nd at 2 p.m. at the United Brethren church in Van Meter.
Miss Evans, aged 88, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Shambaugh, was born in Jefferson township, and lived there until the home burned about 25 years ago. Since then she has made her home in Van Meter.
The only near survivors are two nieces who reside in California. Burial will be made in the Union Chapel church cemetery near the home, where she resided for so many years.
