Death Of Mrs. Charles H. Hann -

Mrs. Charles H. Hann was called suddenly by death on Thursday morning. She had been in very poor health for many years and a constant sufferer.

Mrs. Hann who was Ada Ross, a daughter of Mrs. T. J. Ross, was a former teacher in this county until her marriage in 1909.

She leaves to mourn her early departure her husband, a son Lyle at home and a daughter, Mrs. Mary Dowers, of Chugwater, Wyoming.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon . Much sympathy is extended to the family.

MRS. ADA HANN

Mrs. Ada Hann, wife of Charles Hann, was born in Winterset, Iowa, Sept. 1, 1880 and passed away at her home in Webster township, May 21, 1925, aged 44 years, 5 months, - days.

She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Ross, the former having passed to the great beyond seven years ago. The mother, four brothers and one sister survive: Charles of Great Falls, Mont.; Walter of Lorimor; Harry of Valley Junction; Robert of Buffalo, N.Y. and Rebecca Callison of Grand Junction, Colo.

Mrs. Hann's girlhood days were spent in Madison county where she took a great interest in school work. Later she became one of our successful teachers, her father having set an example of teaching in the schools of Iowa for over 29 years. On Oct 23, 1900 she was united in marriage to Chas. H. Hann. To this union were born two children. Mrs. Mary Dowes of Chugwater,Wyo. and Lyle of Winterset.

She united with the Christian church when just a small girl and in the different communities in which she lived always did her part in helping Christian work in any way she could.

For 18 years her health had been very poor, but she was of good courage and patient, trying not to complain. The comfort of her children and husband was ever foremost in her mind.

She leaves to mourn her loss, her mother, husband, children, two grandchildren and numerous relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Methodist Church by her pastor, Rev. P. C. McCallon of the Church of Christ. Burial made in the Winterset Cemetery.
