WILBUR EYERLY DIED THURSDAY

Macksburg Resident Died on Thursday; Age of 50 Years

George Wilbur Eyerly, a well-known Macksburg resident most of his life died Thursday, March 19, at Memorial hospital in Winterset, after a brief illness. He was 50 years of age.

Mr. Eyerly was born in Madison county April 5, 1913, a son of Fred and Esther Brock Eyerly. He was married March 29, 1934 at Winterset to Mildred Herron, who survives him.

His life was spent in trucking and farming. He was a member of the Macksburg Methodist church and the Masonic lodge at Mt. Ayr.

In addition to his wife, he leaves two daughters, Mrs. Gene Umsted of Winterset and Mrs. Loyal Bell of Pomona, Calif.; his father, Fred Eyerly and his stepmother, Mrs. Fred Eyerly of Winterset; four grandchildren; four brothers, Frank Eyerly of Basehor, Kan., Ryman and Gene Eyerly of Denver, Colo., and Don Eyerly of Winterset; two stepbrothers, Wade Crow of Greeley, Colo., and Eugene Crow of Virginia; and a step-sister, Mrs. Paul Thompson of Des Moines.

Funeral services were held this Monday from the Macksburg Methodist church, conducted by the Rev. Donald Frank. Burial was made in Moon cemetery at Macksburg.

Wilbur Eyerly, Macksburg, Dies

MACKSBURG—Wilbur Eyerly, 49, of Macksburg, died at the Madison county hospital at Winterset last night. He was a truck driver and a farmer.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Monday at the Macksburg Methodist church. Rev. Donald Frank will officiate. His body is at the Wilson funeral home in Winterset.

Mr. Eyerly is survived by his widow and two daughters, Mrs. Loyal Bell of Pomona, Calif., and Mrs. Gene Umstead of Winterset. Several brothers also survive.
