KENNETH EYERLY DIES AT 52 YEARS

Death Occurred Unexpectedly Last Wednesday at Home Here

Kenneth W. Eyerly, life-long resident of the Winterset community, died unexpectedly last Wednesday, July 15, at his home just west of Winterset. He was 52 years of age.

Mr. Eyerly was a son of Ray V. and Mabel Wright Eyerly. He was born in Madison county Dec. 12, 1911. For a number of years he had operated the Eyerly Nursery at the west edge of the city.

He was a member of the Methodist church.

Mr. Eyerly was married July 8, 1934 to Eathel McDonald of Winterset, who survives him. He also leaves three sons, Robert Eyerly of Reno, Nev., Donald Eyerly of Winterset and John Eyerly of Cottonwood, Ida.; his mother, Mrs. Mabel Eyerly McBride of Winterset; three grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Wilma Rhine of Earlham, Mrs. Iola Wilson of Bremerton, Wash., and Mrs. Aurola Oldham of Winterset. His father and two brothers, Harold and Corwin Eyerly, preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the First Methodist church of Winterset conducted by the pastor, the Rev. John C. Porath, and the Rev. Paul M. Hann of Des Moines. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
