John J. Eyerly, Palm Desert, Calif.

Word has been received of the death of John H. Eyerly, 82, Palm Desert, Calif., who was a native of Winterset. He was a resident of Palm Desert for 11 years and had been self-employed as a toy manufacturer for 45 years.

Survivors include his wife, Ann; sons, Brian and Bruce, both of Chicago, Dean of Ashland, Ohio, and Scott of New York, N.Y.; a brother Lloyd Eyerly of Des Moines; a sister, Mabel Shoemaker of Winterset, and four grandchildren.

John H. Eyerly

Private services were held for John H. Eyerly, 82, of Palm Desert. He died Friday at Good Samaritan Village Convalescent Hospital in Palm Desert.

Mr. Eyerly was a native of Winterset, Iowa, and a resident of Palm Desert for 11 years. He was self-employed as toy manufacturer for 45 years.

Survivors include his wife, Ann; four sons, Brian and Bruce, both of Chicago, Dean of Ashland, Ohio, and Scott of New York, N.Y.; a brother, Lloyd Eyerly of Des Moines, Iowa; a sister, Mabel Shoemaker of Winterset, and four grandchildren.

Burial was private.
