CHARLES L. EYERLY DIES IN COLORADO

Charles L. Eyerly, of Brighton, Colorado, died Wednesday, May 6th at a hospital in Denver, after an illness of seven weeks, at the age of 74 years. Mr. Eyerly, a son of the late George and Martha Howell Eyerly was born in Douglas township and lived in this county, until he and his wife, the former Mabel Nelson moved to Colorado, 27 years ago.

He is survived by his widow and their four children; Nellie Elledge of Hot Sulphur Springs, Colorado, Lucile Chambers of Englewood, California, Reva Adams of Chicago and Clifford Eyerly of Dallas, Texas. One son Nelson Eyerly died three years ago.

He also leaves five brothers and sisters, Frank of Altadena, California, Alice Knight of Pasadena, Fred Eyerly of Greeley, Colorado, Virgil of Mason City and Loren Eyerly of Winterset. Other survivors include 11 grandchildren and his step mother, Mrs. Clara Eyerly of Winterset, and seven half brothers and sisters; Jack Eyerly of Chicago; Howard of Brighton, Colo., Lloyd and Sam Eyerly of Des Moines, and Emerson Eyerly, Mrs. Ralph Shoemaker and Mrs. Eldon Thomas of Winterset.

Funeral and burial services will be Saturday, May 9th, in Brighton, Colorado.
