MRS. L. H. EYERLY DIED LAST TUESDAY

Mrs. Loren H. Eyerly of Winterset died Tuesday, Dec. 16, at Memorial hospital in Winterset. She was 84 years of age.

Mrs. Eyerly was a native of Illinois, where she was born at Hayworth, near Bloomington, on Sept. 10, 1885. She was the former Emma Caroline McComb, daughter of Corydon I. and Emily Ellsworth McComb. Early in life she came to Madison county with her family, and this community had been her home for the last 64 years, with the exception of nine years in the west.

She was married here May 18, 1908, to Loren H. Eyerly, who survives her.

Mrs. Eyerly was a member of the First United Methodist church of Winterset. She was a past member of the A.S.C. and of the Women's Christian Temperance union.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by six children, Merwin K. Eyerly of El Dorado, Kan., Carroll M. Eyerly of Omaha, Mrs. Ray Schulz of Winterset, Mrs. Ralph Souder of Rudd, Mrs. Roger Williams of Overland Park, Kan., and Mrs. Earl Price of Chadd's Ford, Pa. She also leaves 13 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday from the First United Methodist church here, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Everett K. Burham. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
