Vivian Downs, Boxholm

Vivian Downs, 87, died July 8, 1993 at Boone County Hospital. Funeral services were July 10 at the United Methodist Church in Boxholm. Burial was in the St. Charles Cemetery.

Mrs. Downs was born July 12, 1905 in New Hampton, Mo. to James and Sarah Barnett. She married Rex Downs, November 23, 1927 in St. Charles. They moved to Boxholm in 1937 where she was a member of the United Methodist Church and the U.M.W.

She was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters.

She is survived by her husband Rex of Boxholm; one daughter, Sara Downs of Des Moines; five grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
