Gregory D. Evans, 33, of Dexter, died Jan. 1, 2002, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 7, at Kuhn Funeral Home in Earlham with Pastor Mike Evans officiating. Burial was at Earlham Cemetery.

Greg Evans was born Dec. 13, 1968, in Guthrie Center to Neil and Patsy (Mains) Evans. A 1987 graduate of Earlham High School, he attended Iowa Western Junior College where he was an honor student. Following graduation, he worked for the Briggs Corporation. Greg was currently employed at the Principal Financial Group as a finishing clerk and printing press trainee. He married Tammy Fagen on Jan. 19, 1991, at Penn Center United Methodist Church.

He is survived by two daughters, Samantha and Natalie of Earlham; a son, Benjamin of Earlham; his parents, Neil and Patsy, of Earlham; a brother, Jeff Evans of Redfield; and grandmothers Helen Evans of Earlham and Ruth Mains of Dexter.
