Bessie M. DeVault, Earlham

Graveside services for Bessie M. DeVault, 98, Earlham, who died April 27 at the Earlham Manor Care Center, were held Sunday, April 30 at the Dexter Cemetery with the Rev. Al Polito, Jr. officiating. Burial was at the Dexter Cemetery.

Mrs. DeVault was a lifelong Madison County resident, a homemaker and a life member of National United Presbyterian Women. She had lived at the care center for 14 years.

Surviving are two daughters, Merle DeVault of Moravia and Ruth Burch of Modesto, Calif.; a sister, Nettie Niblo of Winterset; four grandchilden; and six great-grandchildren.
