Ople H. Ryner Detrick, Indianola

Ople H. Ryner Detrick, 83, died of complications following a stroke Thurs., July 16, 1992 at Mercy Hospital. Funeral services were held Sat. July 18 at Overton Funeral Home, Indianola.

She was born in Madison County on March 5, 1992. She married Wayne B. Detrick on March 25, 1939. She was a kindergarten teacher for rural schools in Madison county, Bevington and Indianola Public Schools until 1974 when she retired.

She was a member of Trinity United Presbyterian Church in Indianola, Daughters of the American Revolution, P.E.O. Chapter B.P. and Rebekah Chapter 111 in Indianola.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, an infant brother and sister, and a brother, William A. (Bill) Ryner.

Surviving are a daughter, Mary Jane Heaivilin, Indianola and two grandchildren, Bill Heaivilin, Des Moines and Heidi Heaivilin, Pella.

Overton Funeral Home handled arrangements, and burial was at Winterset Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to KITA-KODA Humane Society in Indianola.
