Services for Floyd Dennis, 74, Winterset, who died Oct. 8 at the Madison County Memorial Hospital were held Monday, Oct. 12 at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Brite officiating. Burial was at the Winterset Cemetery.
Born in Union County April 23, 1913 he was the son of Mont and Mary Kinkennon Dennis. He was married to Gladys Marie Robison on April 23, 1939 in Winterset.
A retired farmer, he spent most of his lifetime in Madison County.
Survivors include a brother, Roy Dennis of Guthrie Center; and a sister Mabel Jones of Hartman, Ark.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and a brother.
