ELLEN CUNNINGHAM DIED HERE SUNDAY

Served As Clerk at Graves Store in Winterset For 15 Years

Mrs. Ellen N. Cunningham of Winterset died at Madison County Memorial hospital here Sunday, Dec. 17. She was 71 years of age.

Mrs. Cunningham had been a resident of Madison county for 65 years. She was the former Ellen N. Cellan, daughter of William and Margaret Foglesong Cellan. She was born at Homer, Nebraska on Oct. 6, 1890.

She was married here July 3, 1910 to Varl C. Cunningham. His death occurred in 1943.

For 15 years Mrs. Cunningham was employed as a clerk at the Charles A. Graves and Son store in Winterset. She was a member of the Patterson Methodist church, and for 50 years had been a member of the Royal Neighbor lodge.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. George Kinnaird and Mrs. Harold Wagner. She also leaves seven grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Etta Carson of Des Moines and Iona Cellan of Patterson.

Funeral services were to be held this Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Collins Funeral home in Winterset, in charge of the Rev. William C. Trembly. Burial was to made in Union Chapel cemetery.
