Florence M. Walker, 86, of Winterset died of a heart ailment Thursday (July 13th) at Care Center North. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Collins Funeral Home, with burial in Pleasantview Cemetery.

Mrs. Walker, a lifetime resident of Madison County, was a retired cook.

Survivors include two sons, Tom and Fred, both of Des Moines; two daughters, Doris Weller of Truro and Joyce Allsup of Peru, Ia.; a brother, Charles Duff of Winterset; five sisters, Eulah Shearer of Des Moines, Dorothy Snores of Clarence, Mo., Gladys Kammin of Boone, and Carrie Harrell and Laura Herman, both of Winterset; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday at Collins Funeral Home, where the family will be present from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
