1967ROBERT DAVIS OF TRURO DIES
Retired Livestock Man and Grocer Was 87 Years of Age
Robert F. Davis of Truro died at his home in that community Saturday, Nov. 4. He was 77 years of age.
Mr. Davis had been in retirement in recent years, after a lifetime spent in the grocery and livestock business. He was born in Clarke County Oct. 19, 1890, but most of his life was spent in Madison county. He was a member of the Christian church at Truro.
He was married at Osceola on Dec. 9, 1914, to Edna Bradley, who survives him. He also leaves a brother, Arley Henthorne of Des Moines, and a sister, Georgia Cunningham of Lancaster, Calif.
Funeral services were held Monday from the Kale Funeral home at Truro, conducted by the Rev. Richard Hempenius. Burial was made in Hartman cemetery.
