Richard B. Hooten was born in Ralls County, Missouri, September 15, 1872 and passed away at his home at Peru, July 15, 1931.
He was the son of Thomas and Rebecca Hooten. He grew to manhood at Center, Missouri, and came to Iowa in 1912. His father, mother, four brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
He was married to Mytrie Morgan August 12, 1917 at Earlham, Iowa. He had been in failing health for the past seven months.
He was willing and ready to go and meet his loved ones gone before.
He leaves to mourn his going, his wife, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a number of friends.
