Rose Ellen Reimann Danley, 74, of Patterson died of cancer Feb. 22, 2000 at her home.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, at Ochiltree Funeral Services in Winterset. A private burial of the cremains will be at Jefferson Township Cemetery in Madison County. There will be no visitation.

Rose Ellen Reimann was born May 26, 1925, in Madison County to Harry and Beatrice (Brooker) Reimann. She married Merilyn Danley on June 18, 1970, in Rockwall, Texas. Rose Ellen worked for Bob Allen Sporting Goods for many years. She also provided care for many elderly people in their homes.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter-in-law and a granddaughter.

She is survived by five sons, Loren Ray Little of Dallas, Texas, Randall William Berch (wife Andrea) and John Herman Berch (wife Susan), both of Peru, Zachery Johnathan Berch of Ashby, Neb., and James Brian Berch of Truro; a daughter, Nona Jill Rudolf of Winterset; a brother, Gerald Reimann (wife Reva) of DeSoto; four sisters, Mildred Nesselroad (husband Richard) and Kay Jamison (husband Francis) both of Waukee, and Lucille Swallow of Earlham and Frances Wight (husband Bernard) of Winterset.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Middle River Hospice in Winterset.
