Cyrus Crossley

Cyrus Crossley died early yesterday morning at his home at Patterson after a brief illness. He was well advanced in years being past 87 years of age and had been growing feeble for some time. However, his final illness was brief and he was able to be about until a short time before his death. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Sadie Christensen of Friend, Nebraska and two sons, Frank and Everett Crossley.

Of the large family of brothers and sisters who came here from Ohio about the close of the Civil War only two remain. They are, Mrs. Sarah Gier of Auburn, Indiana and J. W. Crossley of this county.

Cyrus Crossley, aged citizen of the county, died at his home near Patterson Tuesday morning. He was 87 years old. The burial will be in the cemetery south of Patterson.
