Frank C. Croft, Coronado, Calif.

Services are pending for Frank C. Croft, 83, a former Winterset resident and retired general of the U. S. Marines, who died Jan. 27 at Coronado, Calif.

Mr. Croft was born in Winterset, graduated from Winterset High School and the Naval Academy at Annapolis, Md.

Survivors are his wife, Helen, a son and a daughter.

Preceded him in death were his parents; three brothers, Hubert, Russell and Raymond; and two sisters, Nona and Cora.
